I. You are sleeping... In your dream you see the giant monster Leviathan, the world-eater, lying on the coast half-dead.
He is frightening you, but at the same time you feel pity for this creature. Come closer, he wants to tell you his story.

Are You Dreaming

II. Leviathan shares his mind with you. Images, silhouettes, memories - all this arises before your eyes. You can’t understand anymore what you see – the reality or a dream. And if it's a dream, then whose dream is it? Yours or his? But you decide to follow what happens next. It seems that Leviathan wants to show you the secrets of his existence, his purpose, and his tragedy. You let him do this.

Leviathan

III. Life and death are the two halves of one cycle. Each civilization is born from the ashes and becomes ashes, when transferred to another, formless form of existence. Leviathan is a divine being, whose purpose is the completion of one cycle and the beginning of another. He devours worlds that are no longer needed by their inhabitants – those empty ones. Waiting for the completion of the next cycle, Leviathan sleeps in his astral world.
This time he has been sleeping for too long. While sleeping, he begins to feel that he is losing strength, that he is disappearing. It seems that humanity can not get out of its cycle, got stuck in wars and consumption. Mankind stands still, being a slave of its low needs and desires. It destroys itself instead of seeking a new stage of evolution. The existence of Leviathan becomes meaningless. A huge monster is dying before your eyes, showing you the sins of humanity.

War is Peace

"When man sits down and legislates
treaties and laws, they are all artificial.
They are designed to keep people in line with the established system.
All laws are not made for the benefit of man.
They have no other way of controlling it.
When nations sign treaties with other nations
if they violate those treaties, they have war ships
to enforce them, armies and navies.
Armies and navies are not to protect people, they protect...
They are there to protect an established system.
Every established system works in a similar manner.
If you had a free society, you couldn't get people to go to war.
If you had an intelligent type of upbringing in one´s children
they would say "There must be many other ways
of solving problems other than killing people."

"We’re so out of our minds with desperation we don’t know any better. All we know is fake fodder and buying shit. That’s how we speak to each other, how we express ourselves is buying shit. I have a dream? The peak of our dreams is a new hat for our doppel, a hat that doesn’t exist. It’s not even there, we buy shit that’s not even there. Show us something real and free and beautiful, you couldn’t. It’d break us, we’re too numb for it, our minds would choke. There’s only so much wonder we can bear, that’s why when you find any wonder whatsoever you dole it out in meager portions, and only then til it’s augmented and packaged and pumped through ten thousand pre-assigned filters, til it’s nothing more than a meaningless series of lights, while we ride day-in, day-out — going where? Powering what? All tiny cells in tiny screens and bigger cells in bigger screens and fuck you. Fuck you, that’s what it boils down to is fuck you. Fuck you for sitting there and slowly knitting things worse. Fuck you and your spotlight and your sanctimonious faces and fuck you all, for taking the one thing I ever came close to anything real about anything. For oozing around it and crushing it into a bone, into a joke, one more ugly joke in a kingdom of millionsand then fuck you. Fuck you for happening. Fuck you for me, for us, for everyone, fuck you"

VI. All the sins of mankind just flashed before your eyes. What you saw scares you. This is the world in which you will return, leaving Leviathan dying. You feel sincerely sorry for him. You hope that he will find peace. You wake up in a cold sweat. Maybe there is anything you can change?
